END RESULTS Chapter nine

'Grin-grin-grin!', the clock in Randy's room chimed six. He stood, stretched and yawned, washed his face using the wash basin in his ensuite and got himself prepared for breakfast.

To Randy,  nothing tasted better than bacon and eggs - he enjoyed his breakfast.

                                ***

'Cheerio mum!', Randy said. He got his rucksack from the couch and headed to the door.

'Oh dear, I'll see you when I see you, take care!', replied Theresa, momentarily.

Outside the gate, the pedestrain-crossing was really working than usual, vehicles moved like snails. Students walked to school, business men and women walked to work, probably because of the traffic.

Randy stood for minutes before he could wave a cab. Thank goodness! He got into the cab.

'Hey, Randy!',
'Paula!, Randy was surprised at the coincedence. 'How are you doing?'.

'Am Okay Ran, you?'

' Am cool'

'How was your night?', Paula asked, smilingly.

''T'was fine, what about yours?', he unbuttoned his blazer.

'Same here', replied Paula.

The traffic reduced. It's cool inside. The cab was conditioned.

'Have you done your commerce homework?', Paula asked.

'Yeah', Randy replied confidently. 'What about you?', he asked.

'Yerrrr', she replied.

When the cab reached their destination, Randy paid for the fare and they alighted.
